I was driving to crèche to drop my daughter off; enjoying the scenery while trying to find a decent tune on the radio. My sunglasses have a bit of a rosy tint to it, which makes me enjoy life just a tad more than others. So here I was, stuck in traffic, getting all melodramatic about the beautiful autumn leaves: Oh, how I love this country! I then realised that I can probably find this kind of beauty elsewhere as well. But…

…what I won’t find in any other country is the opportunity to appreciate nature while bobbing to some kwaito tunes.  It’s then that I knew: I was born to live here where white chicks can bob to black tunes.
