Your Eco Tip of the Week: Recycle your organs!
This is the Mother of all recycling – when you decide to donate your organs and actually act upon it by registering at the Organ Donor Foundation, you know that you have arrived.
If this is something that you would like to do (and why wouldn’t it?), you have to remember to carry your organ donor card with you at all times otherwise your green efforts are futile.

While I totally agree that organ donation is the way to go (I’m an organ donor), I don’t think that it’s necessarily good for the planet, because it prolongs lives, and more people = more strain on the resources of the planet. Just a thought!
Thanks for your input, Tracy. I absolutey agree. This was more of a tongue-in-the-cheek green idea with the attempt to challenge our readers to donate their organs. If we care for our planet it’s usually to save something and this is the ultimate life saver! It made me register immediately
