Happy 2nd Birthday Woo Woo

One of the best things about having a family is that you get to create new traditions. We’ve started many but one of my very favourites is our birthday morning tradition – tea, chocolate cake for Breakie and opening pressies. Today we sing and dance and clap our hands and wish our little Woo a happy 2nd birthday. Always with a big toothy smile or mischievous grin, he makes us smile just as much.

So much joy you have brought to our lives little one. You are so loved.

101 Mini Adventures #13 – River Walking

One of our favourite activities to do with the boys is river walking. It costs absolutely nothing and it’s paradise for the senses…the sound of flowing water, the smell of moss and muddy banks, the greenery that straddles the rivers path and the refreshing temperature of everything underfoot. I love it because it’s simple. And earthy. And does wonders for the soul.

Not even 5 minutes from home, the Kloof gorge provides us with a fun Sunday afternoon activity!
