Expats Make Their Mark

According to the IEC’s chief electoral officer, Pansy Tlakula, more than 5000 South Africans living abroad have already applied for a special vote but the  IEC has no way of knowing the final number that will vote in the upcoming elections on April 22nd.  Those who are not yet registered won’t be allowed to vote but those who are registered and intend to make their mark, must notify the chief electoral officer of their intention to vote by March 27 2009.

Well done guys, we are proud of you! Every vote counts!

Did Mountain Biking bring out my Poetic Side? Eish!

Whoever knew that mountain biking would bring out the wannabe poet in me?! Well, it was Binki Bonker’s birthday recently and we thought we’d get her a mountain biking skills book – but now that I think about it, she’s provided us with so much free entertainment over the past 6 months of Epic training that I don’t know if getting that book was such a good idea..mmm.  Anyway, I decided to write a poem for her card…I got so excited about writing it (one that rhymes nogal) that I forgot to write the most important part – Happy Birthday! Doh.

Here is the masterpiece!
